Dashcon was a shitty, pointless idea in the first place. And the fact that a terrible, horribly organized “Tumblr convention” easily raised $17,000 in less than an hour when there are so many poor, young people of all races and genders trying to find any donations for things like food, shelter, medical treatment or even just a positive place where they can stay safe is sickening.
